Minimum Educational Qualifications
A Bachelor Degree of a recognized university in any discipline; working knowledge in computer applications/ office automation solutions is desirable.
Age Limit
Upper age limit is 28 years as on the last date of receipt of application i.e. 23 April 2010, relaxable for SC/ST (5 yrs)/ OBC (3 yrs)/ PH/Ex-Servicemen as per GOI instructions. No age limit for CSIR departmental candidates.
Selection Procedure
The candidates will be selected through a single All India Competitive ONLINE Examination followed by skill test and interview (for Section Officers and Assistants).
Please note that those who had applied to these posts in response to CSIR Advertisement No. 01/2009-LA (that appeared in Employment News, June 20 – 26,2009 edition and the editions of major National Dailies from 25th – 27th June, 2009) for CSIR CASE 2009 need not apply, as they are being considered on the basis of their earlier applications.
