Bhilai Steel Plant is a flag bearer Plant of SAIL and Ten – times winner of Prime Minister’s Trophy for best Integrated Steel Plant In the country. Bhilai Steel Plant is India’s sole producer of rails and heavy steel plates and major producer of structural. BSP is in the process of modernising and expanding its product units, raw material resources and other facilities to maintain its dominant position in the steel market. ELIGIBILITY:
Age: Minimum 18 yrs. & Maximum 28 yrs. as on 01/05/2013.

Essential Qualification and Experience:

1 Mining Foreman Matriculation and Diploma in Mining along with Mining Foreman’s Certificate of competency under MMR Act 1961 from the competent authority; and with at least one year post qualification experience in Open Cast Mines in the capacity of Mines Foreman.
2 Mining Mate Matriculation along with Mining Mate’s certificate of competency under MMR Act 1961 from the competent authority; and with at least one year post qualification experience In Open Cast Mines in the capacity of Mining Mate.
3 Blaster Matriculation with valid Blaster’s certificate or valid Mining Mate certificate of competency under MMR Act, 1961 from the competent authority, (both restricted to Open Cast Mines) and with at least one year post qualification experience including experience of deep hole blasting in Open Cast Mines.

Physical Standard: Candidates will be required to meet following physical standard for being considered for the post:

Height 155 cms
Weight 45 Kgs
Chest (Expanded) 79 cms
Chest (Un-expanded) 75 cms
Eye Sight 6/9 without glasses. Power of glasses not to exceed (+,-) 02.5 D.
Colour Vision Normal (Colour blindness will be a disqualification)

Candidates must ensure that they possess the above mentioned Physical Standard. They will have to produce a medical certificate issued by Registered Medical Practitioner / Government Doctor certifying the above Physical Standard at the time of interview. Also, If selected, they will have to undergo medical examination before joining.

RELAXATIONS:
Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes with respect to posts reserved for them.

Caste Certificates should be submitted in the format for appointment to posts under Government of India/ Central Government/ Public Sector Undertaking (format available in our website www.sail.co.in) issued by a Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tehsildar.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:
The eligible candidates will be required to appear in written examination. On the basis of their performance in the written test they will be called for interview. Information for written test and interview will be provided on our website www.sail.co.in.
