Applications are invited for recruitment to the post of Field Assistant on Direct Recruitment as per the following particulars:
1. Name of the post: Field Assistant
2. Pay Scale: Pay Band (2) Rs.9300 – 34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs.4200/- plus usual allowances as admissible under Central Government and Foundation’s Rules.
3. Number of Posts: 10 (Ten) [UR 7, OBC 2, SC 1] for 5 Zones (Eastern Zone – Kolkata, North Eastern Zone presently Kolkata, Western Zone – Mumbai, Southern Zone – Chennai, Northern Zone – Delhi), 2 posts in each zone.
Essential and Other Qualifications:
Essential:
a) Bachelor’s Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.
b) Proficiency in Hindi and English and in any one of the regional languages.
Desirable :
a) Bachelors Degree in Library Science from a recognized University/Institute.
b) Degree/Diploma in Computer Application.
5. Age: Not exceeding 30 Years. (Relaxable for Government Servants upto 5 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government).
