The Business Development function in Totem Infrastructure is in the forefront of leading the company to a target Order Book of Rs.10,000 crores by the end of 2011-12. The BD function is headed by the Director Marketing, and is recognized as a key driver of Totem’s growth. The function now needs Tender and Estimation professionals, at various levels, who are self-starting, self-driven individuals, looking for an opportunity to make a deep and lasting impact in the infrastructure space.
Tender and Estimation professionals must bring to Totem superior understanding of business opportunities in the infrastructure sector and the drive to meet stretch goals day after day, quarter after quarter. They will be expected to analyze customer requirements in making feasibility reports. Rate Analysis, Estimation and Bid-Submission will be their chief responsibility areas and they would, of course, be experts in meeting stiff deadlines.
The Business Development function addresses thrust areas in Roads, Railways, Airports, Seaports, Irrigation, Buildings, Industrial Infrastructure, Water and Waste Management, Hydro-Projects, Pipelines, Mining and Tunnels, amongst other areas. Professionals would be required to demonstrate specialist experience in, at least, one of the areas. Those with expertise in two or more areas would be preferred.

GENERAL MANAGER (TENDER & ESTIMATION): 3 Positions
Sharp professionals with about 20 years of experience, of which, at least, half must have been spent in a similar role in the recent past. You will ideally be a BE/B.Tech (Civil). A management qualification, specializing in Finance/Marketing/ Operations, is desirable.
ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER (TENDER AND ESTIMATION): 10 Positions
You will have about 15 years of experience, of which, at least, half must have been spent in a similar role in the recent past. You will ideally be a BE/B.Tech (Civil). A management qualification is desirable.
We require Engineers with 2 to 8 years experience for the Business Development department who would process bidding and tender documents, prepare technical and financial proposals and submission of tender documents. Qualified DCE/BE/B.Tech candidates confident of working in a professional environment are encouraged to apply.
Fresh Engineering Graduates may also apply for absorption as GET/DET as the case may be.
