Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, a Navratna Company under the Ministry of Steel, Government of India, needs Safety professionals for the following positions:

* For Dy.Manager post, the upper age limit will be relaxed by 3 (three) years in case of OBC candidates.
Allowances and Benefits
The selected candidates will be placed at the minimum of the pay scale and will be on probation for a period of one year. In addition to Basic Pay, they would be entitled to Industrial Dearness Allowance, Perks and allowances under Cafeteria Approach @ 46% of the basic pay (after adjusting the recurring expenditure on maintaining and running infrastructure facilities), Performance Related Pay, Free Medical Treatment for Self, Family and Dependant parents, Insurance Cover, Housing in the Company Township or HRA, Leave and encashment of Earned Leave, Contributory Provident Fund, Group Insurance, Gratuity, etc. The approximate CTC will be as under:

E-4: Rs. 14.74 lakhs E-3: Rs. 12.90 lakhs
Required Educational Qualifications and Post Qualification Experience
• B.E. / B.Tech Degree (full time) in Mechanical / Electrical / Metallurgy / Chemical / Production Engineering with at least 60% marks from a recognized University / Institution with full time PG Degree / Diploma in Industrial Safety Engineering from a recognized University / Regional Labour Institute / Institution recognized under the Factories Act / Rules.

OR

B.E. / B.Tech Degree (full time) in Industrial Safety / Fire & Safety Engineering with at least 60% marks from a recognized University / Institution.
•       Post qualification experience of minimum 9 years (for E-4 grade) and 6 years (for E-3) grade is essential. Post qualification experience shall be counted from the date a candidate has acquired the said qualification.

Experience Profile:
Experience in compliance with safety regulations under the Factories Act; developing, auditing and improving safety systems; promotion of safety consciousness amongst the employees; examination of machinery, equipment and building from the safety angle; experience in conducting Hazop, Hazan studies, etc. Experience in organising safety training and fire fighting would be an added advantage.

•    Fluency in English and Telugu languages is essential.
